Reprise Media Commits To Corporate Social Responsibility; Partners With The Center For Global DevelopmentNEW YORK CITY - November 14, 2007 - Reprise Media, a leading provider of search engine marketing (SEM) and social media solutions, today announced a commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, pledging to allocate expertise and time to help nonprofit organizations advance their marketing efforts. “Search and social media are at the center of the way people connect and communicate online,” said Josh Stylman, Managing Partner, Reprise Media. “While these channels provide significant opportunities for advertisers to reach consumers, they offer an even greater opportunity to rally people to worthy causes. We are inspired by the chance to use our expertise to help make a difference.” Reprise Media’s first client under this initiative is the Center for Global Development (CGD), a nonprofit think tank whose mission is to bring attention to global poverty. Reprise Media launched a full SEM campaign for CGD’s site, cgdev.org, in July 2007. Since the campaign’s launch, Reprise Media increased CGD’s average monthly search traffic by 1500% and more than doubled CGD’s click-through rate. In the month of October, Reprise Media’s campaign drove nearly 30% of the site’s overall traffic. “Reprise Media has been a huge help to CGD in getting more value out of our Google Grant budget and in helping us to understand and begin to make use of new online marketing opportunities,” said Lawrence MacDonald, Director, Communications and Policy, The Center for Global Development. “Their forward-thinking approach to search marketing and social media has helped us take advantage of these new channels to increase the impact of our online communications efforts.” Reprise Media has also developed an integrated SEM and SMM strategy for CGD’s “Global Development Matters” site which was developed by See3, a Chicago-based media company focused on nonprofits. Through this strategy, the company will use social media and search to help the CGD increase awareness and generate discussion about global development issues in advance of the 2008 U.S. presidential election. “Reprise Media is instrumental to the Global Development Matters campaign. By planning and executing the paid search marketing campaign, the website will benefit from a continual source of quality traffic it would not otherwise have,” said Michael Hoffman, CEO, See3. “The contribution by Reprise Media, including their innovative collaboration on the social media marketing strategy, added substantial resources to the campaign and enabled See3 to develop additional engaging online media.” Reprise Media will continue to pursue new opportunities for partnership with nonprofits in order to help them leverage SEM, SEO, and SMM in their marketing efforts. Interested nonprofits can apply for SEM, SEO, and SMM services on Reprise Media’s Web site. The firm also plans to produce a series of case studies about its pro bono work, in order to more effectively share search and social media best practices with the nonprofit world and industry peers.
